Rent / Utility Assistance
	Any person with HIV infection may apply for assistance with rental or utilities payments through the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS grant (HOPWA). Homeless persons with HIV infection will be considered for assistance through the Shelter Plus Care Grant. This program is designed to get homeless people with HIV off the streets and into a plan of care for their HIV infection. These two programs must be administered according to HUD requirements. TAN also assists eligible clients with emergency utility assistance.
