| TAN honors Debby Stasinopoulou as 2006 Red Ribbon Hero |
| The Triangle AIDS Network honored Debby Stasinopoulou, the longtime creator of graphic designs for the annual Paint the Town Red fund-raiser, with the 2006 Red Ribbon Hero Award Thursday night (Nov. 2, 2006) for her efforts on behalf of persons living with HIV/AIDS.

Tam Kiehnhoff, social services coordinator for TAN, announced the selection of Stasinopoulou to receive TAN’s highest honor for volunteer service at “Paint the Town Red: M. Butterfly’s Kabuki Ball,” staged at the Beaumont Country Club. The annual gala is TAN’s largest source of private funding.
Stasinopoulou is being honored “for the creative spirit she lends so tirelessly to make Paint the Town Red truly a work of art,” according to the inscription on her award, a specially framed rendition of the “Kabuki Ball” invitation she designed this year.

| With support from Michael Lee, president, and Tanya Lee, vice president, of Michael Lee Advertising & Design, Stasinopoulou has designed theme logos, invitations and programs since 1993. During that time, the agency has been a Red Ribbon Underwriter of the event for its contribution of creative services. |

The artist’s first design was for “Paint the Town Red: Celebrate Hope.”
“Michael and I are so pleased that Debby is being recognized, not only for her good work, but for her good heart,” Tanya Lee said.
Stasinopoulou joined Michael Lee Advertising in 1984 and, said Tanya Lee, “Her expertise in art and design, computer graphics and other production techniques has made her an integral part of our agency team”

| A resident of Beaumont, Stasinopoulou graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1971 with a bachelor of fine arts degree. She has 35 years of experience in art direction, illustration, copywriting, pre-press and production management, with experience working for retail businesses, printing firms and advertising agencies.

| Previous Red Ribbon Hero recipients, beginning with the most recent, have been Bob Wortham, Steve Bean, Greg Busceme, Don Kelly, Archie Land, Louise Wood, Lynne Lokensgard, Ed Moore, Dr. Robert Pollard, Fred Angele, Sister Maria Geheb, Pat Papania, Jeff McManus and Dr. Frank Baker.

| Founded in 1992, Paint the Town Red supports client services and educational efforts of TAN. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $600,000 for TAN.
This year, auctions featured about 300 offerings – art, fine furnishings, party and travel packages, celebrity items and an array of other items – plus uniquely designed centerpieces created by area designers in keeping with the Kabuki Ball theme.
