Skills: Respond to 20,000 annual queries from the public regarding liver diseases.

           Promote the Texas Liver Coalition to the public and to professionals.          

           Interact with hepatologists, transplant surgeons and all pharmaceutical companies with

           products for liver diseases, especially hepatitis C.

                                        Conduct training seminars on Hepatitis C for nurses and chemical dependency

                                        counselors seeking re-licensure. Coordinate 30 Support Groups Statewide.

                                        Member of the Texas State Hepatitis C Workgroup.  Member of the Houston Mayor’s

                                        Task Force on Hepatitis C.
